Welcome to Morning Mile: Energizing Young Minds, One Lap at a Time!
Morning Mile is a vibrant before-school activity program designed to invigorate elementary school children and kick-start their day with a burst of energy. Created with the belief that active bodies foster active minds, this initiative encourages kids to lace up their sneakers and embrace the joy of running before the school bell rings.
At Morning Mile, we believe in the power of movement. By providing a safe, supportive environment for children to run, jog, or walk, we aim to instill healthy habits and a love for physical activity from an early age.

Classroom Contest
To encourage participation, Morning Mile hosts Monthly Classroom Challenges. The classroom that has the most number of total participation points at the end of each month will be the winner.
How do we get participation points?
1 point is awarded per student, per day that they complete at least 1 lap
Points are tallied at the end of the month and do not carry over.
What do we win?
The winning classroom for the month will be announced and be presented with the coveted Morning Mile Classroom Challenge Trophy they will get to keep in their room all month! The class room teacher will also get $50 credit to spend on the classroom books or items of their choice! The Morning Mile Chair will work with the teacher to procure their selected items.
Is this a separate from the the 5-mile charms?
Yes, students still will continue to earn charms based on total laps/miles completed. This challenge is in addition to that.
